 Oh Deer!

Dear Fans, Friends, Fiends, Foes and Family, Nothing political today, but rather some pics and video clips taken of nine mule deer that were in our backyard. I have installed the "Plogger" software for the photo album, but will likely scrap it for something with more features and more power, like Gallery or Coppermine (If you have any experience with any of these or a better choice for free, I would like to know). Anyway, I thought you guys would like to see these so click here to see the post with the Youtubes and a link to the pics on the site I use all the time http://herbthiel.com/

Okay, now that the giggling, laughing, chortling, chuckling snorting and outright guffawing have simmered down I will tell you.  (Click here to see the rest)

 Honest People Are Refreshing

There is still some hope in the world and not the kind of false hope presented by the Black Irish candidate, but I feel really upbeat and positive today. First, Let me apologize for not being around more, but as I've told you in the past, when there is real life to be lived I have to go with it rather than blogging, or I won't have things like this to tell you about. Actually I appreciate the supportive comments I have received lately and since I am feeling up and hopeful and inspired I will share this with you all, Gentle Reader. (Read the rest, click)

 My Eye Hurts

I was over at Beej’s Blisteringly Brilliant Blog and red her story about her teary eye and was reminded of a story of one of my daughters.  She was maybe two or three,  (Continue here)

 Important But NOT Political

We often have looked for ways to show support for the troops, to try to help and especially thank them.  Scott Truitt has found a simple, effective way  (Click here to read the rest)
